Description	NCI-H3255 cell line was derived from pleural effusion of a 47-year-old Caucasian female with lung adenocarcinoma. The cells carried a TP53 mutation (c.560-1G>A). This cell line is highly sensitive to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), including gefitinib and erlotinib, and is widely used in oncology, drug screening, and resistance mechanism studies.
