| Description | The HEK293T Human CD58-Low Overexpressing Cell Line is a stable mammalian cell line engineered to express low levels of human CD58 (LFA-3) on the cell surface. Developed using the highly transfectable HEK293T background, this cell line provides a controlled and reproducible model for investigating immune cell adhesion, T cell activation, and immune evasion mechanisms. CD58 is a key costimulatory molecule that interacts with CD2 on T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, playing an essential role in immune synapse formation and immune surveillance. Reduced CD58 expression has been associated with immune escape in various cancers. This CD58-low overexpression model enables researchers to precisely evaluate the functional impact of diminished CD58 signaling in immuno-oncology and immune modulation studies. |
